We are a Cape Town based association of veteran and current Paratroopers who wish to keep the Airborne spirit alive and we have meetings every second Thursday of each month.
Cape Canopy
Started in 1984, Cape Canopy is the oldest paratrooper veteran orginisation in South Africa! We meet every 2nd Thursday of the month.
44 Para Regiment
44 Parachute Regiment is the South African Army’s chief airborne infantry unit. It was created in 2000 by redesignating 44 Parachute Brigade, and is based at the Tempe military base near Bloemfontein.
1 Parachute Battalion
1 Parachute Battalion is the only full-time paratrooper unit of the South African Army. It was established on 1 April 1961 with the formation of the Parachute Battalion. After 1998 this unit was renamed to Parachute Training Centre.
Airborne Riders
The Airborne Riders Motorcycle Club, ARMC is an organisation whose membership is restricted to members of military airborne units, past and present, who have qualified as paratroopers and are entitled to wear the parachute wings of their unit. More

3 Parachute Battalion is a Citizen Force paratroop unit of the South African Army and was established in July 1977.
